About the Author(s)

Professor Craig Langston (MRICS, FAIQS, MAIB) holds the inaugural Chair of Construction Management at Deakin University and is Director of the Built Environment Research Group (BERG) in the School of Architecture and Building. After ten years working in the Sydney construction industry, and following a long career at the University of Technology Sydney, he joined Deakin University in 2002. He is the author of four internationally published books, and has an active research interest in construction productivity, sustainable development and whole-of-life cost planning.
